Setting up the connection with the Epson TM-T20II via USB

Here you will find clear instructions on how to successfully set up the Epson TM-T20II!

  1. The new version of the Epson TM-T20II printer has slight changes to the printer's connections. The connections look like this:
  2. The cover must now be unscrewed to access the USB port. This will then look like this:
  3. On the printer you will find a button called "Feed". The printer must now be turned off.
  4. Press the power button and the feed button at the same time. You will then receive the following receipt:
  5. Hold down the feed button again to access the Mode Selection:
  6. Now press the Feed button 3 times and hold down the Feed button the 4th time to get to option 3. Customize Value Settings
  7. Now press the Feed button 17 times and hold the Feed button for a few seconds on the 18th press to get to the Interface Selection option:
  8. Ethernet is now set. You can see this by the * (asterisk). However, the * must be next to USB.
    Now press the feed button twice and hold it down for a longer time the third time . If everything was done successfully, the receipt will look like this:
  9. To exit, press the Feed button once briefly and then hold it down for more than a second . The Paper light should now stop flashing.

The printer has now been set to USB.

If you made a mistake, turn the printer off again and start again at point 3.
