Connecting the Epson TM-m30III to Wi-Fi
You can also connect your Epson TM-m30III via Wi-Fi. The following video shows you how to connect the printer.
Below you will also find step-by-step instructions for connecting:
- Make sure there is paper in the printer and turn the printer on. No additional cables are needed.
It is also important that the mobile phone or tablet you will use to scan the QR codes is on the same network as the printer.
- After you turn on the printer, the following receipt will be printed: "SimpleAP Start. Please wait… Do not turn off the power."
- Wait a short while and a longer piece of paper with a QR code should be printed.
- Scan the QR code with your mobile phone.
On iOS, the following message appears:
“Join WI-Fi Network “DIRECT-TM-m30III-XXXXXXXXXX”?
Click on “Join” there.
On Android, a list of networks will appear. Select the printer from this list:
- Another piece of paper with a smaller QR code will then be printed. Scanning this will open the Epson website in your browser. Select “Wi-Fi” there.
- Now you will be asked for another password. Enter the password from the underside of the printer. There is a sticker with a lock on it, and the password is printed next to it.
- Now a screen will appear where you can select your Wi-Fi network. Enter your Wi-Fi password here.
- Another piece of paper will be printed, which should say “PASS” at the top under “Check Network Connection”.
Your printer is now connected to the Wi-Fi network.
If the printer cannot be connected via Wi-Fi or the password on the printer is incorrect, please contact Epson support directly. They can connect the printer using the serial number without a password. Unfortunately, we cannot provide assistance in this matter.
Now you just need to add your printer to the ready2order app. Here's how:
- Open the ready2order app and log in.
- Click on the gear icon to access the Settings.
- Here you can add the printer to a new printing profile or insert it into an existing profile.
- If you don't see this option, first follow these steps and only then return to the POS.
Congratulations – your printer is ready to use!
