How do I reset my ready2order hardware readyMax?

If your readyMax is no longer working properly, you are passing the device on to someone else, or it is not responding to input, it may be necessary to reset it to its factory settings – though this only applies to the T2S model. All locally stored data will be deleted in the process.

⚠️ Important: First check which model you have. You’ll find the serial number on a sticker near the device’s cabling.

  • If the serial number begins with T2, it is the older T2 model. Do not reset this device to factory settings. After a factory reset, the device can no longer be updated to a supported software version and will therefore no longer be operational.
  • If the serial number begins with TS, it is a T2S. You can reset this model to its factory settings as described below.
Please note that during the reset you can skip the Sunmi login by clicking on Skip.

How do you reset your readyMax T2s?

To perform a reset, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Home Screen.
  2. Select Settings (white gear).
  3. Click on Device.
  4. In Android settings click on Selection on the right.
  5. Click on General.
    1. If, for whatever reason, you do not have access to the ready2order app, you can also access these settings directly on the device. To do this, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and select the three dots at the bottom left. Then tap Settings to access the device settings.
  6. On the left side (greyed) scroll down to the button System.
  7. Select Reset Options.
  8. Then click on Erase all data (factory reset).
  9. And then click the Reset Tablet button.
  10. Select Erase everything.
  11. Now follow the steps on the screen. Please note that during the reset you can skip the Sunmi login by clicking on Skip.
