I am handing over my company/business/restaurant to another person. Can I also hand over my cash register system?

If you want to hand over your business (e.g. your restaurant or your store) to someone else, you are probably wondering what this means for your ready2order subscriptions. You may be wondering whether you can simply pass your subscriptions on to the new owner.

However, due to the legal situation, there are a few important points to consider when handing over a company.

Even if the new owner/lessee continues the existing business unchanged, the change of entrepreneur/owner usually means that a new cash register must be registered with the tax office. This generally applies to all sole proprietors. For this reason, your ready2order subscriptions and contracts cannot usually simply be transferred.

The contractual relationship between you and ready2order does not automatically expire when your company is handed over to new owners. This means that contracts continue until they are terminated in compliance with the contractually agreed notice periods.

However, there are also exceptions where a handover is possible.

Therefore, if you are planning to hand over your company, always contact us early. Our support team will be happy to help you find the optimal solution.
