How can I use readyPay with my readyGo 2?

With your readyGo 2, you can accept contactless payments via NFC. To use this feature, you need to link your readyGo 2 to your ready2order account once to enable the NFC function. In this guide, we will show you how it works.

Important: If you have not yet linked the NFC function of your readyGo 2 to your ready2order account, error code 10 will always be displayed during a readyPay payment and the transaction will fail.
Requirement: Before you can use the NFC payment function of your readyGo 2, readyPay must be activated for your account. If you have not yet activated readyPay, you must first submit a request in the admin interface. You can find a step-by-step guide in this help article.
Step by step:
Note: The NFC function is permanently linked to the ready2order account you are currently logged in with. Make sure you are logged in with the correct account before starting the linking process on your readyGo 2.
  1. Log in to the POS interface with the account you want to permanently link to your readyGo 2.
  2. Tap the white gear icon at the bottom right to open the settings.
  3. Tap Payment methods in the list.
  4. Then tap readyPay.
  5. Now check the status in the NFC function section:
    1. If a button labeled Link is displayed, tap it.
    2. If it says NFC function in preparation: Check the status again after one business day. The Link button will appear once your ready2order account is ready for linking.
    3. If it says NFC function not yet activated: Contact support.
  6. In the dialog Activate NFC now?, tap OK on the right to start the linking process.
  7. Wait until the linking is completed. Do not leave the screen while the process is running.

After successful linking, the NFC function section will display the message NFC function already linked as well as your device’s App ID. You can now accept contactless readyPay payments with your readyGo 2.

Note: If the message "Linking failed" appears, tap OK and repeat the process. If the error persists, contact support.
