How do I sign up for readyPay?
Please note that you can only use readyPay in conjunction with the intended ready2order hardware.
For our Swiss customers: readyPay is currently not available in your country. Click here to receive further information about an alternative card payment option.
readyPay is processed via the provider hobex – don’t worry, the application and administration is done via our Admin Interface!
To get started with readyPay, you must first submit an application for card payments with hobex. To do this, log in to your Admin Interface to use readyPay.
To do this, proceed as follows:
- Log in to the Admin Interface
- Select the readyPay tab
- You will be asked to fill in your company, contact and bank details
Common sources of error
1. VAT identification number (USt-ID):
It often happens that customers enter an incorrect VAT identification number in the application that does not apply to the listed company/sole proprietorship. For German customers, it is mandatory to provide a VAT ID number because this is a cross-border business transaction due to hobex's registered office (Austria).
2. Address:
We need the address to match the address in the commercial register/company register. For sole proprietorships, the address must match the address stated in the business registration/trade license.
3. Upload the documents:
If the upload of your documents does not work, send them to us at support@ready2order.com
4 . Bank proof/bank account proof:
The bank proof/bank account proof also has a high error rate, as documents are sometimes uploaded that do not contain the full account name and IBAN code.
It should also be ensured that these documents are official. In other words, it should be either the front and back of the bank card (in the case of sole proprietorships), a bank statement, a screenshot of online banking or an official confirmation from the bank.
The name of the account holder must be identical to the company or business!

- In the next step, you will be asked to provide personal identification using an ID document. You will need a business license for verification, otherwise you will not be able to offer card payments!
- Verification is done using your identity card, passport or driving license.
- Expired documents or health cards (for Germany or Austria) will not be accepted for verification.
After all steps have been completed, the application is submitted to hobex. The application is normally processed within 5-7 working days; you will then receive a confirmation by email.
