Do I need a VAT ID number to register with readyPay and if so, where do I get it?

For our Swiss customers: readyPay is currently not available in your country. Click here to receive further information about an alternative card payment option.

If you are a ready2order customer from Germany, you must provide an active VAT ID number in order to successfully complete the readyPay application. The reason for this is that our payment system partner Hobex is based in Austria and therefore cross-border business transactions take place.

If you do not have an (active) VAT ID number, please contact your tax office. There you can apply for a VAT ID number or have an inactive number activated.
