Connect readyMax 2 to printer via LAN/Wi-Fi

To set up a printer on your network for the readyMax 2, you will first need the following components:

readyMax 2 device

Ethernet cable (not needed if you connect your printer via Wi-Fi)

Mac/Windows PC/Laptop/Smart device (if you connect your printer via Wi-Fi)

Modem/Router

Printers (here you can find the printers we support)

Here's how to set up the printer on your network.

The printer (e.g., the TM-m30) must first be registered on the network so that it can be found and accessed by the readyMax 2. There are several ways to configure the printer on the network:

Connect the printer to your readyMax 2

Make sure your readyMax 2 is connected to the same Wi-Fi router you used to set up your printer.

To connect the printer to the readyMax 2, proceed as follows:

  1. Open the ready2order app on the readyMax 2 and log in.
  2. Click on the gear icon to access the Settings.
  3. Go to Printers.
  4. You now have the choice from the following options:
    1. Select Add new printing profile > Get started! and choose the printer you added to the network. Follow the subsequent steps.
    2. Select an existing profile and tap Change associated printer. The system will now search for printers. Select the printer you added to the network. Follow the subsequent steps.
