What is a hospitality receipt and how can I create one?

Business meals are a valuable opportunity for companies and entrepreneurs to maintain business relationships, make new contacts or win customers. Another advantage: the costs of business meals can be claimed for tax purposes as they are classified as business expenses. In order to properly deduct these expenses, a hospitality receipt is required, which is shown below the invoice on the receipt.

A prerequisite for the creation of hospitality receipts is an active gastronomy license.

Create a hospitality receipt when billing a table

  1. First select all the products you want to cash up.
  2. When you click on cash up, a window appears that allows you to select a payment method. In this window, activate the slider for hospitality receipt and then select the desired payment method.

Create a hospitality receipt during checkout

  1. After you have added all products to the shopping cart, select Options.
  2. Activate the slider for hospitality receipt and then select the desired payment method.

Reprint hospitality receipt

If you would like to print the hospitality receipt again, proceed as follows:

  1. In your checkout interface go to invoices .
  2. Select the invoice you want.
  3. Select Print Receipt .
  4. A window will now appear in which you must select your desired invoice printer. In this window, activate the slider for hospitality receipt and then select Print .
