What is a hospitality receipt and how can I create one?
Business meals are a valuable opportunity for companies and entrepreneurs to maintain business relationships, make new contacts or win customers. Another advantage: the costs of business meals can be claimed for tax purposes as they are classified as business expenses. In order to properly deduct these expenses, a hospitality receipt is required, which is shown below the invoice on the receipt.

A prerequisite for the creation of hospitality receipts is an active gastronomy license.
Create a hospitality receipt when billing a table
- First select all the products you want to cash up.
- When you click on cash up, a window appears that allows you to select a payment method. In this window, activate the slider for hospitality receipt and then select the desired payment method.
Create a hospitality receipt during checkout
- After you have added all products to the shopping cart, select Options.
- Activate the slider for hospitality receipt and then select the desired payment method.
Reprint hospitality receipt
If you would like to print the hospitality receipt again, proceed as follows:
- In your checkout interface go to invoices .
- Select the invoice you want.
- Select Print Receipt .
- A window will now appear in which you must select your desired invoice printer. In this window, activate the slider for hospitality receipt and then select Print .
