How can I connect a barcode scanner to my readyMax 2?
A scanner can be connected via Bluetooth or USB.

Connecting the Inateck BCST-70 to the readyMax 2 via Bluetooth
- Turn on the scanner.
- Scan the two barcodes on page 30 of the BCST-70 user manual.
- Swipe up from the bottom of the readyMax 2 screen and tap the Bluetooth icon. Activate Bluetooth if the slider is not already on.
- Select the scanner from the available devices. When the message appears asking if you want to pair your scanner with the readyMax 2, select PAIR.
- Your scanner is now connected and ready to use.
If no barcode can be read:
- Remove the scanner by swiping down from the top of your readyMax 2 screen, tapping the Bluetooth icon, selecting the scanner, and removing it. Add it again as described above.
- If problems persist, reset the scanner to factory settings and try pairing it again. To reset the scanner to factory settings, follow the steps on page 11 of the BCST-70 scanner manual.
Connect barcode scanner via USB
If you are using your scanner via USB, follow these steps to add it:
- The readyMax has several USB ports on the bottom of the device that you can use for a scanner.
- Select a port and plug in the scanner.
- The message "New device detected" will now appear. Do you have a barcode scanner connected? Confirm this message by tapping YES.
- You should be able to use the scanner now.
If the scanner does not work via USB, follow these steps:
- Unplug the scanner and plug it back in.
- Reset the scanner to factory settings. To reset the scanner to factory settings, follow the steps on page 11 of the BCST-70 scanner manual.
