How do I change the receipt roll on my readyMax?
The readyMax is formerly known as the readyT2!
For our Swiss customers: The readyMax is not yet available in your country. However, the device will be available shortly. We thank you for your patience.
We will explain to you how to change your receipt roll and do a test print.
To change the receipt roll, proceed as follows:
- Open the flap
- Insert the receipt roll (the end of the roll should hang out at the tear-off aid)
- Tear off the excess paper
- Log in to your readyMax device
- Click on the white gear to access the settings
- Click on Printers
- Select the printing profile with the readyMax device
- Click on Print test print
- Now the device prints a receipt and the roll has been changed successfully
If your readyMax does not recognize the eco receipt rolls, we have a tip for you:
To solve this problem, cover the sensor (which detects whether the paper is empty) in the printer with a small piece of colored tape.
Because blue paper does not reflect as well as white paper, the sensor often cannot detect it! In the following picture you can see where the sensor is marked in red:
