Connect readyTab to printer via LAN
To set up a printer in your network for the readyTab, you first need the following components:
readyTab device
Ethernet cable
Mac/Windows PC/Laptop
Modem/Router
Printer (here you can find the printers we support)
How to set up the printer in your network
The printer (e.g., the TM-m30) must first be added to the network so that it can be found and accessed by the readyTab. There are two ways to set up the printer on the network:
Connect the printer to your readyTab
Make sure your readyTab is connected to the Wi-Fi router where you set up your printer.
To connect the printer to the readyTab, proceed as follows:
- Open the ready2order app on the readyTab and log in.
- Tap on the gear to go to the Settings.
- Go to Printers.
- You now have the choice of the following options:
- Select Add new printing profile > Get Started! and select the printer you added to the network. Follow the remaining steps.
- Select an existing profile and tap Change Associated Printer. It will now search for printers. Select the printer you added to the network. Follow the remaining steps.
