Troubleshooting the readyTab

Here you will find an overview of problems that can occur when using the readyTab and how you can solve them.

Problem

Solution

Device does not start

- Charge the device for 3 minutes.

- Check if the charging status is displayed on the screen.

Software does not respond

- Press and hold the power button for 11 seconds to restart the device.

Printer does not work

- Check that the printer cover is closed.

- Check if there is a paper jam.

Receipt printout is blank

- Check whether the receipt roll has been inserted in the correct unwinding direction.

- Check that a high-quality receipt roll with a width of 80 mm is used as recommended by the manufacturer.

Poor print quality

- Check the print head for contamination and clean it carefully with a cotton swab and alcohol if necessary.

- Use high-quality receipt rolls with a width of 80 mm as recommended by the manufacturer.
