Browser update on your readyGo

From January 30, 2025, you will no longer be able to use the ready2order POS system if your device does not use browser version 106 or higher.

A total of 3 steps are required for the browser update on your readyGo. It takes about 20 minutes and we recommend not performing the update during opening hours.

Step 1: Update the device firmware

  1. On your readyGo, swipe twice from top to bottom.
  2. Tap the settings icon (gear).
  3. Connect to a Wi-Fi network in Wireless & Networks.
  4. Navigate back to the settings overview, scroll all the way down and select About this phone.
  5. Click the first menu item "P2_PRO".
  6. The device will now check whether an update of the device software is available. If this is the case, start the download by clicking on "Download Now" or "Continue to download" in the middle of the screen. If you already have the latest version, you can go straight to step 3.
  7. Once the download is complete, you will see the option "Reboot the update" - select it.
  8. The device will now prepare the update and restart. After the restart, the update will be installed automatically.

Step 2: Restart the device

  1. To do this, press and hold the power button on the left side of the device for about 2 to 3 seconds until the choice between Reboot and Power Off appears.
  2. Select Reboot and the device will restart.

Step 3: Update the browser (Android System WebView)

Option A: You can still log in:

  2. Click on the white gear in the menu bar on the home screen to access the settings.
  3. Select the item App".
  4. Scroll down to the menu item "App Store" - Click on "Open".
  5. You will now see the " Android System Webview App" . If it says " Update" next to the app, you can tap on it to update it. If it says " Open" next to the app, it is already up to date.
  6. Click on the circle in the system bar at the bottom to return to the ready2order app. Then restart the device if necessary.

Option B: You can no longer log in:

  1. Once you have completed steps 1 and 2, select "Open App Store" on your device.
  2. You will now see the "Android System Webview App" . If it says " Update" next to the app, you can tap on it to update it. If it says "Open" next to the app, it is already up to date.
  3. Click on the circle in the system bar at the bottom to return to the ready2order app. Then restart the device if necessary.
