How do I connect my readyMax 2 to a cash drawer?

You can easily connect a cash drawer to your readyMax 2 by plugging the cable attached to the cash drawer into the RJ12 cash drawer connection on the readyMax 2.

To ensure that the cash drawer opens when a sale is made, make sure that this is set for the respective payment method. To do this, proceed as follows:

  1. Go to Settings (gear icon) in the ready2order app on your readyMax 2.
  2. Select Payment Methods.
  3. Select the respective payment method (e.g., cash payment).
  4. Activate the slider for Open cash drawer automatically.

To open the cash drawer via the ready2order system without creating an invoice, proceed as follows:

  1. Go to Settings (gear icon) in the ready2order app on your readyMax 2.
  2. Select App.
  3. Tap Open the cash drawer.
