How does the SIM card work?
The SIM card is already implemented in the readyMini device and works with various networks.
Are there additional costs for using the SIM card?
No. The costs for mobile data and the SIM card are already included in your POS system subscription.
Can I change my network operator/provider?
The standard network operator in Austria is A1, in Germany it is Vodafone. However, the network can be changed. The default setting is automatic selection of the network operator. We also recommend this setting.
If you still want to change your mobile phone provider on the readyMini or want to specify your mobile phone provider, then follow these steps:
- Turn on your readyMini
- Swipe the screen twice from top to bottom
- Tap the settings icon (gear) in the top right corner
- Select Network & Internet
- Select Mobile network
- Make sure the Mobile Data and Roaming sliders are enabled
- Scroll down and select Advanced
- Tap the activated (orange) slider next to Automatically select network . This will disable automatic network selection
- The system will now search for available networks. Please be patient, this process may take a few minutes. Please note: the display will remain white until network operators are found
- Tap on the network operator you want. You are now connected to this network operator
