readyPay Error Code 8008
If error code 8008 occurs, first check if your device is connected to a stable internet connection. If you're using a Wi-Fi router, please make sure your router's encryption standard is set to WPA2. You can adjust this setting in your router's settings. Alternatively, turn off Wi-Fi on the device you're using and use the mobile data provided by the integrated SIM card.
If this doesn't help, please try restarting the PaymentService app on your device. You can do this as follows:
At readyGo
- Swipe the device twice from top to bottom.
- Select the Settings icon (gear) in the top right corner.
- Select Apps.
- Select the PaymentService app.
- Select Force Stop.
- Confirm the message that now appears with OK.
- Restart your device.
On the readyMini
- Swipe the device twice from top to bottom.
- Select the Settings icon (gear) in the top right corner.
- Select Apps & Notifications.
- Select View all XX apps.
- Select the PaymentService app.
- Tap Force Stop.
- Confirm the message that now appears with OK.
- Restart your device.
On the readyTab
- Swipe up from the bottom of your device and select the three dots in the bottom left corner.
- Select Settings.
- Select Apps on the left.
- Go to See all XX apps.
- Select the PaymentService app.
- Select Force Stop.
- Confirm the message that now appears with OK.
- Restart your device.
